Artist statement

Athalia Altmann is based in Berlin and is a multidisciplinary queer artist exploring and combining the fields of painting, video making, writing, music and live performances, and sculpture. Their preferred research subject is the human body viewed through an expressionist and surrealist lens with just a pinch of anatomy and cyberpunk. In their multifaceted work, Athalia also explores queer identities and rave culture.
