Artist statement

Having studied linguistics and sociology, Alexandr seeks to deploy and combine diverse visual art techniques with sociological concepts so as to better understand social reality and its impact on individuals. By doing so, the artist thus challenges the fine line between artistic creation, social meaning, and sociological research.

So far, the media used in his projects and exhibitions have been: acrylics on wood, cardboard, and cork; watercolours, pencils, and markers on watercolour and acrylic paper; digital photography and editing; digital art and design; poetry and text editing.
